The Firefighter Training Group is now offering a four session study course for the New York City Firefighter Exam.  The Course will consist of the following:

MEMORY QUESTIONS (WRITTEN & PICTORIAL)

READING COMPREHENSION & INTERPRETATION

DIRECTIONAL MAPS

SITUATIONAL JUDGMENT QUESTIONS

FIRE RULES, PROCEDURES & REGULATIONS

INFORMATION ORDERING

reasoning questions: adaptability, tenacity, integrity AND ESTABLISHING & MAINTAINING PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP QUESTIONS

 

FIRE TOOLS

INFO ON CFR-D CERTIFICATION

INFORMATION ON PHYSICAL (CPAT), MEDICAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL ,

ORAL INTERVIEW AND BACKGROUND CHECK.

 CERTIFIED AND DYNAMIC FIRE INSTRUCTORS WITH 

OVER 100 YEARS COMBINED EXPERIENCE

STUDY BOOKLET & EXAMS AT EACH CLASS SESSION 

TEST TAKING TECHNIQUES - FULL PREP FOR WRITTEN EXAM

 

 

Each Class session consists for 2 1/2 hours of dynamic instruction, test taking techniques and lesson booklets deigned to focus on the actual scope of the exam.  Our material and information is current so that you won't waste your time studying information that won't be part of the scope of the New York City Firefighter Exam.

The full tuition is 449.00 for the 4 session course.  If you register by July 31, 2010 you get a $50 early registration discount on the tuition.

Classes can be taken at any of the following locations and dates:

Suffolk County -  Monday evenings from 7 PM to 9:30 PM  at the VFW Hall, 588 Long Island Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729.  Tentative dates: October 4, November 1, November 15 and December 6, 2010. or

Brooklyn - Tuesday evening from 7 PM to 9:30 PM at the Knights of Columbus, 1305 86th St., Brooklyn (Bensonhurst), NY 11228.  Tentative dates: October 5, November 2, November 16 and December 7, 2010. or

Queens - Wednesday evenings from 7 PM to 9:30 PM at the Knights of Columbus, 49-18 Queens Blvd, Woodside, NY 11377.  Tentative dates: October 6, November 3, November 17 and December 8, 2010. or

Nassau County - Thursday evenings from 7 PM to 9:30 PM at the American Legion Post # 1087, 233 Woodlawn Road, West Hempstead, NY 11552.  Tentative dates: October 7, November 4, November 18 and December 9, 2010. or

*** Saturday mornings 10 AM to 12:30***

Nassau County - Saturday mornings from 10 AM to 12:30 PM at the American Legion Post # 1087, 233 Woodlawn Road, West Hempstead, NY 11552.  Tentative dates: October 9, November 6, November 20 and December 10, 2010 or

Staten Island - Sunday mornings from 10 AM to 12:30 PM at the Knights of Columbus, 300 Manor Road, Staten Island, NY 10314.  Tentative dates:  October 10, November 7, November 21 and December 11, 2010
